Beginner 1

Course content: This course aims to provide the basic speaking and listening skills for students in order to start communicating in German. Basic grammar will be introduced and basic vocabulary be provided in order to enable students to participate in class and interact with teacher and peers. Beginner I is text book based with a combination of whole class activities and group work with the use of audio material.

Class time and venue: This class meets Saturdays mornings 09:30 am - 11:10 am, at UVIC, Clearihue Building, 2nd floor, D-wing

Course duration: The course runs for 9 weeks of 100 minute classes. Please note there will be no classes on the long weekends.

Total course cost: $230. Book/material fees may apply.
